PRP
Baby smooth skin, anyone?
Sometimes the best treatment options are those your own body creates! Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a natural treatment used to stimulate new collagen and cell growth within the specified treatment locations.

These treatments require a venous blood draw, spinning the blood with a centrifuge to separate the blood components, and then drawing up the PRP to use as part of your treatment (i.e. facial injections, microneedling adjunct, hair restoration).
Got Questions?
-
What is PRP?
- PRP is a concentrated form of plasma derived from your own blood. We select plasma that is rich in concentration of platelets, which have growth factors and collagen-producing properties vital for healing and tissue regeneration. It’s prepared by drawing a small blood sample and spinning it in a centrifuge to isolate the platelets. We can then inject it or use it with our microneedling services.

When will results be visible?
-
This depends on how we use it! If used as a bio-filler, you may notice more immediate results. With microneedling, your results may be enhanced once your skin has healed from the treatment. Results are different for each client but are expected to be long-lasting due to the new collagen production.

-
Will I require any downtime?
-
For injections, bruising and swelling are always possible. Give yourself two weeks before any events/vacations. Recovery from PRP with microneedling lasts from 1-5 days with reddened skin and occasional peeling. Plan accordingly!

How many treatments will I need?
-
Again, this depends on how we use it! On average, we recommend treatment sessions every 4-6 weeks. For maintenance, treatment is recommended 1-2 times per year. Results may vary between clients and between treatment areas.
